Careers Day
Blackbirds had an amazing time learning about all the different jobs at the careers afternoon.
Harvest
This week we have been learning about harvest. We made our own scarecrow and green screen of our harvest song. Take a look!
Sparrows
Sparrows have had a amazing week in school. We have started phonics where we are learning the phonemes and graphemes. We have looked at pairing sets and sorting in maths and we have had a look at our families.
Mmmmm…….ice cream!
After learning about our topic ‘On the Beach’ reception were able to enjoy an ice cream that had kindly been purchased by Sue at broadstairs rotary club. The children were so grateful and it was a perfect gesture at the end of the school year. Thank you so much!
Treasure hunt
Today in Sparrows, they went on a treasure hunt after reading the story ‘Pirates love Underpants’. We had a letter from Pirate Pete who gave us lots of clues to find the treasure.
World Cup
Sparrows have been learning about the World Cup. We decided to use the green screen to make a video. All of the sparrow children showed LEARN values when creating the hats, speaking and trying to dribble the footballs. It is definitely coming home. 🏆 🏆 ⚽️ ⚽️
